Coupon Code Domain Name Registration At Hover – Save 15%
I just renewed a domain name at registrar hover.com for a client. Don’t really like the Hover interface – find it very confusing. I’d rather use Namecheap.com.
But, if you DO like hover.com, or need to renew it, you better use a coupon code – so you will geta discount!
Hover advertised the coupon code on their website. It does not appear to have an expiry date, and I successfully used it to renew a .net domain.
Here is the discount code for instant 15% savings:

Hover.com is a new domain name registration and management service of Tucows.com…
Enjoyed the domains coupon code domain hover registration registrar hover.com renewal savings discount post. Not many blogs worth bookmarking but this is going on Delicious now!
I had a really lame experience with another registrar and transferred over to Hover. http://www.hovercoupon.com/ was a really cool website that has a 10% coupon code, HONEST, which benefits the Red Cross.
Well, I must say that I found hover.com to be a very lame experience. One of our clients had their domain name registered there, but we moved it away from there. Totally unintuitive interface…
Just used the coupon code. It’s still working as of July 12, 2010.
I used a coupon from another site that gave me 10% off any purchase on Hover.com it was ‘dougs’ and worked great in case the above code doesn’t work anymore.
Thank you for sharing that discount coupon code, Joseph. Will try it next time. 🙂
Run away from hover.com as fast as you can.
The user interface is difficult to manage. Customer service is poor. Service is overpriced, even with coupons. Moving away from the service is difficult.
Hi Pepi,
Thanks for visiting! Don’t know about the “moving away from the service is difficult” part, but I agree with the other things you mention.
Hover is definitely not a favourite of mine!
I disagree with these assessments! The other domain registrars charge up each service like domain privacy and forwarding. By the time you are done there, the cost is the same or more than hover.com. I appreciate the honest and simple pricing. Call me anti-intuitive, I like the interface. If anything, I was disappointed by the additional clutter of the upgraded look. The service has always been prompt.
“dougs” and “honest” both work as of 02/24/11
Well, I’m sure you’re not the only one – otherwise Hover would be out of business! And every interface will have it’s own merits once you get to work with them and get to know them better.
But that still is poor usability – things should be obvious and effortless from the get go. 🙂
But thanks for chiming in, Ofazomi.
You can save 10% off your next purchase on Hover.com by entering coupon code, “vince” .
Thanks, Vince. I tried it and it worked!
